of successful projects

Past results are a good predictor of future performance.  Take a look at some of the projects we've executed and see if one looks similar to what you need done.  Please call if you'd like more detail or customer references.

Most of the projects shown here included nearly all of the phases of development, not just programming.  We wrote specifications, code and documentation.  We worked with OEMs as well as their end users.  You won't find the "We don't clean windows" mentality at our shop.

Multimedia/eCommerce

Commerce site and web magazine. PerpetualPlanet.com.  Programmed in ASP.NET and C#.

Streaming web site for remote replay of recorded telephone transactions.

Database access web site for access to recorded phone sales activity and associated transaction information.  Also allow generic database access for table maintenance.

In-store mini-kiosk for displaying HP printer supply information. The application was produced for both Pocket PC and Handspring/Palm.

MP3 player UI concept.  Created a UI for focus group testing for Intel's new MP3 player. 

VioskŪ, a public information kiosk with videophone for rapid display of organizations' Web pages and integrated, parallel teleconferencing.  

OCX controls for web pages.  Scanning, email, dollar bill acceptor and magnetic card reader controls can be used collect information from users.

Credit card/cash billing system for metering kiosk usage.

Application simulations showing uses of a teleconferencing system. The programs appeared on a promotional CD used by an international sales force.

Video banking kiosk for new account creation. The system was the first of its kind in the U.S., allowing customers at a remote site conduct business via a video teleconference.

Virtual reality product information CD containing a walkthrough of a conference center in which the user finds interactive seminars along with video, audio and text-based instruction about a telecomunications product.

Brachytherapy control program in Windows 2000. The internationalized user interface allows clinicians administer radiation treatments to cancer patients.

Factory Automation

GEM host interface for a planarizer. Encapsulated Generic Equipment Model functionality in a VBX control for use by an existing Visual Basic machine controller application.

Semiconductor metrology equipment interfaces for various CD, thin film and resistivity measurement equipment. Wrote a Windows-based application for data acquisition and alarm logging. The product, called a Metrology Station Monitor has been implemented for several customers. Also wrote several applications under Desqview.

Semiconductor process equipment interfaces to etchers, furnaces, wet stations, ion implanters and deposition systems, including material handling management under Unix.

Process equipment interface for a plasma etcher. Excel-based machine control and monitoring system, using the SECS II protocol. Extensive use of Excel macros for user interface.

Factory host interface for metrology equipment mentioned above. A Station Monitor ties multiple pieces of equipment to factory-wide WIP tracking and process control system using DECNET DOS.

Products demonstration of multi-vendor integration capability of software from various VARs at Semicon.

Bulletin board system operating with a remote terminal protocol which transfers full screen images from a host PC to the remote PC. The database engine is Paradox, the communications software is written in Turbo Pascal. Featured in Mercury News, Business Monday section, 7/31/89.

Online customer support forums on Compuserve. Set up and program implementation.

Serial communications support for Paradox. Provided an interface for package weighing and telephone credit checking on a retail store database.

Transactions database for verification and tracking long-distance subscriber sales. Used Microsoft's ADO and SQL.

Engineering analysis database for graphing and correlation of metrology and wafer sort data in semiconductor manufacturing. Included real-time SPC charting with automated reaction to out-of-control conditions.

Online database of construction projects for use in marketing for a major trade union. Users could view projects proposed or in progress for the entire state with their current permit status.

Analysis of sales forecast data model for rollups by region and product line with connection to actual sales and GL systems.

Remote management database system.  Integrates Access and Outlook to maintain a database of current and past kiosk activity.

Supplies database for a major printer manufacturer.  Allows easy maintenance of a printer/ink/media relationships.
